  • Who do you work with?
    We specialise in supporting mental health professionals to run their own, established, private practices. Our current clients range from Equine Assisted Therapists, to Mental Health Social Workers to Autism Awareness providers. Basically, if you work in the mental health space, you are our people.   • Can you help me with...?
    We specialise in supporting mental health professionals run their private practices. To do this effectively, there are some services we do not provide, such as: Bookkeeping In person support Website design or builds (but we are happy to help with basic updates) Social Media Management/Content creation Virtual reception services Graphic Design (logo, branding, website etc) Other specialist services outside our speciality If you are still wondering if we can help you, simply reach out through our enquiry form and we'll get back to you ASAP.
  • How much will this cost? What is your hourly rate?
    These are the two most commonly asked question of any service provider, unfortunately, the answer isn't clear cut. Here at IVY Business Services we do not charge an hourly rate, we provide outcomes based packages. Our most popular package is our all-inclusive 'Mind Saver' practice management & administration package which starts from $3,200pm (excl. GST), we also have our smaller 'Time Saver' package which starts from $1,400pm (excl. GST), or we can tailor a custom package for your specific needs.   • What is an Online Business Manager (OBM)?
    Our Business Managers (aka OBMs) work closely with our clients to understand their business, their goals and to develop strategies to reach them. Our Business Managers prepare project briefs, compile policies, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and offer guidance and direction to our team of professional administration assistants and sub-contractors.
  • What is a Virtual Assistant?
    Our virtual assistants (VA) are the doers. They are administration professionals who completes their work online, generally from their own home office and under the guidance of our Business Manager. Our VAs provide a reliable solution to everyday tasks, without the commitment or overheads of an employee.
  • What is the difference between a VA and a Business Manager (aka OBM)?
    Online Business Managers (OBMs) are planners and managers. Our Business Managers excel in understanding your 'big picture' goals, developing strategies to help you reach them and then manage the team (either our VAs or your own employees) to get you there. Virtual Assistants (VAs) are the doers. A VA is generally task-oriented, they take on specific tasks and progress them to completion, usually under the direction of an OBM or the business owner. Here at IVY Business Services you get both! For clarity, if you were to think about OBMs and VAs as a retail business then the VA would be stocking the shelves, and the OBM would be managing the store, forward planning inventory and ensuring sales targets were reached.

    Exactly! This is where IVY Business Services excels, by working with our team you only pay for what you need. Whether you only need someone for 1 hour a day to check emails or a full-service practice management and administration package we have you covered. Our team will complete their tasks as efficiently as possible, then move on to the next clients workload.
