Get More Therapy Clients: Email Marketing Series

Updated: Dec 5, 2022

Build Your List - One Step at a Time

“The quickest way to do many things is to do one thing at a time.” - Christopher Westra

Let me guess, you probably think the best way to get things done is to multitask and work on everything at once... Well, you're WRONG!

Juggling too many tasks sends you down the path of feeling overwhelmed and eventually burning out. This doesn’t do your business, your clients or YOURSELF any good at all.

When you focus on working on just one thing at a time, you’re able to think deeper and be more creative, which results in better service to your clients. Use Starbucks as an example: they started with just one thing, coffee. They were able to focus on their one thing and they grew an entire empire because of it.

So, if you want to harness the magic of email to fill your practice with eager clients, you need to focus on one thing: build your email list. When you invest your energy into your email list, you’re able to convert subscribers into paying customers and build relationships with customers you may not have met any other way.

Prioritize, Prioritize, Prioritize

Before wasting time on the latest marketing tactics, (you know, the ones where you need to dance, sing or be a comedian to get noticed), make growing your email list your top priority.

If you're looking to grow your current practice, or build a waitlist of eager clients, a high-quality, relevant email list will help you reach your goals.

It might seem impossible when you have a never-ending list of high-priority tasks (check out this post to see how we can help with that), but with email marketing, you’ll put automated systems in place to attract potential clients consistently.

Get the Results You TRULY Desire

You can’t expect your business to grow if you aren’t taking advantage of email marketing. Think strategically about what you want your perfect business to look like, and plan for it.

Start by identifying who your ideal client is. You know, the one who fits into your perfect business, the one you smile to see on your schedule that week.

Then, once you know who exactly you're speaking to, create an enticing free offer, and use that to get people to join your email list. Seizing the opportunity to market directly to your potential perfect clients by creating and growing your email list is one surefire way to grow your business.

The Magic of Doing ONE Thing

When you focus solely on growing your email list, you're putting into practice techniques that will bring huge results for your business over time.

Email marketing has been proven to work time and time again, (some stats say its up to 42% more effective than social media), so invest the time needed to build a solid list.

The beauty of email marketing is that it takes the same amount of time to create and send one email as it does to send 500 emails, and as a bonus, it really doesn’t take long to create your first series of emails.

Then, by automating the process, you will save time, reach a larger audience, and build relationships with your subscribers.... even while you sleep!

Is Growing our Email List Your Priority?

It's too easy to become overwhelmed by all the things running a business entails, but when you choose to focus solely on building your email list, you are making a small step towards future-proofing your business and bringing clients to YOU.

Email marketing is a great way for you to stand out to your audience without battling millions of others on social media. Your subscribers are eager to receive your emails, and over time they'll see you as an expert in your field.

Grow your list, and reap endless benefits for your business.
